Notes
- James' father left him £50, 2 bass viols, all his violins except one, 3 silver table spoons and 6 silver tea spoons.
. - In his Recollections of Old taunton, Goldsworthy recalls that Jim Turle accused Bill Frost of not being entitled to vote because his house faced into the wrong area. An examination of Bill Frost's house showed that he had, during the night, built a new door opening into the voting area and was thus entitled to vote.
