    1.      In the name of God Amen
    2.      I Joseph Scammell of Noble Street in the parish of
    3.      Saint Ann Aldersgate Street London working Silversmith
    4.      being in good health and of sound and disposing mind
    5.      memory and understanding but considering the precariousness
    6.      of human Life do make publish and declare my last Will
    7.      and Testament in manner and form following that is  to
    8.      say I do hereby give and bequeath unto Ann Simkins
    9.      widow the sister of my late wife Mary who now
    10.     resides with me the sum of one hundred pounds to said
    11.     for her own use and Benefit and I do hereby give and
    12.     bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth the wife of John Parfitt
    13.     the sum of ten pounds to and for her own sole and separate
    14.     use and Benefit and not to be subject to the Debts
    15.     Controul or Engagements of her present or any future

    42.     Executors shall think proper unto and for the Maintenance
    43.     Education and Promotion in the World of my two sons
    44.     Joseph and William Scammell until they shall arrive at
    45.     the age of twenty one years And I do hereby desire my
    46.     said Executors to advance and pay for each of my said
    47.     children at one apprentice fee any sum of Money they
    48.     think proper not exceeding Thirty pounds and I do hereby
    49.     empower my said Executors to sell or take out of the
    50.     Stocks or Principal sum of Money as much as will
    51.     enable them together with the Interest or Dividends in
    52.     their hands to make up and pay the said two apprentice
    53.     fees not exceeding Thirty pounds each and from and
    54.     immediately after my said children shall arrive to the
    55.     said age of Twenty one Years Then in Trust to pay
    56.     and divide all such Stock or Principal sum of Money
