1699 Thomas Skammell was Churchwarden1 - OV 2/1
From 1741 a Thomas Scammell was claiming poor relief. In 1748 Thomas and his wife were described as "old, infirm and poor" and in May the following year they were being given 8 shillings allowance every 4 weeks which was increased to 10 shillings in 1754.1
