- In the Central Ciminal Court in Middlesex on the 18 September 1848 Edward was charged with Seditions, Conspiracy to make Insurrections. He was found guilty and sentenced to 2 years in prison and fined £10 & sureties. He was described as 28 years old and well educated.9
