Whereas I have contracted to sell all
my Freehold and Leasehold Messuages at
Ilchester (except the Swan Inn) to Sir
William Manners Bart who hath filed
his Bill in Chancery against me for the
specific performance thereof in consideration
of the sum of £2550 now I give same
to my Exors in Trust to convey same to
William Manners and with the
purchase Money to pay all Mortgage and
other debts and to place £900 at interest
and apply the interest for the maintenance
etc of my younger children [ ] Elizabeth,
Isett, Henry and Sarah during their
minorities or advance and pay the Principal
according to their discretion during their minorities in [planing out]
in life my said children in the following portions
Two hundred pounds each to my daurs and
Three hundred pounds to my son In case
the whole shall not be expended during their
minorities the same to be paid them at 21 or
marriage The shares of any dying to fall
into the residue In case the produce
of my property so sold shall be insufficient
to pay any debts and the £900 then the
same shall be made up and raised out of
the Produce of the Residue of my Real and
Personal Property
After the death of my Wife my Household
Goods and Furniture Utensils [Casles] Liquors Linen
Woollen and [Stuff] in my Dwelling and Premises
where I reside to go in same manner as the
residue of my effects
The residue If any die [ ] the
survivors
