Notes
- In her letters to Jane Leigh Perrot after the trial Mrs Scadding twice refers to Mrs Jones who appears to be a relative or friend with herself and Mrs Pitman. In the 1793-1796 British Universal Directory John Jones is a draper in Ilchester and may be the same family.13
